Spring has definitely arrived and flowers are bursting out all over, but their colours are not the only things you can enjoy about them. A few of these are harvested not just to be seen but to be eaten, the most common being zucchini flowers and artichokes. This is defintiely the season to enjoy them at the table!

It doesn't take much to understand that the Italian words mean 'attention prostitutes'. Make what you will of this!

I was about to post some cherry blossoms I saw on my recent trip to Amalfi, but just discovered this picture on TopSpeed. It's the latest road sign put up in Treviso which has got even residents confused. Whether this is meant to warn people of prostitutes ahead, or warn prostitutes of something else altogether remain unknown for now. Or perhaps this is some April Fool's joke by the local town council?
